Description of Proposal:
Fotenn Planning + Design is submitting this application on behalf of Greenwood Park LP #1. This application relates to 630 Gore Road and the parcel abutting to the north (refer to the Planning Rationale Report for confirmation of the subject site boundary). The intent of the official plan amendment is to bring the entirety of the subject site into the Cityโs urban settlement area boundary and redesignate the lands Housing District and Major Open Space on Schedule 2 City Structure and Low Rise Residential and Environmental Protection Area with a Site Specific Policy Area on Schedule RC-1 Rideau Community Secondary Plan to facilitate the development of the Greenwood Park East neighbourhood. Greenwood Park East will incorporate a range of low-rise, ground-oriented residential dwellings, open space and environmental protection areas.
